Meanwhile, she is anxious to discuss new development in life with Deepika. Monisha confessed that she had fallen for RV. He readily accepted her marriage proposal, and it feels like fireworks are in the air because Deepika was suggesting to Monisha to ask for a date for their dream wedding with RV from him at the fast-breaking ritual.
Monisha is in high spirits and chooses to confirm the commitment very night. Deepika finds this further exciting. Dadi spends some time in distributing a necklace to all her daughter-in-laws. She said that husbands would never have brought home any gifts. Harleen appreciates the gesture by saying the husbands should have thought themselves. Dadi appreciated this saying she is indeed an ideal daughter-in-law.
Meanwhile, Purvi receives a call from her doctor. He warned her that if she doesn’t consume her medicines in time, she might invite some fatal health problems. She had been strictly told that she might even get brainstroke or go into coma due to omission of medicine consumption. Keeping this dreadful news before herself, Purvi had decided to continue fasting as well.
Diya noticed that Purvi was not fine and asked her to end her fast. Purvi, however, refused to end her fast, sticking to her decision. RV, overhearing this, forced Purvi to end her fast, mainly because Monisha was also fasting for him. Purvi gets hurt by his comment and asks him to leave as she feels helpless and defeated to even speak to him.
Meanwhile, the men of the family—Dadaji, Harman, Jaswant, and Vikrant—discuss the tradition of Karwa Chauth and the expectations of gifts wives have. Harman reflects on the good fortune he has regarding Harleen not asking for gifts and often refusing it altogether.
At that time, Deepika saw Monisha eating in the room. She had been fasting and had declared about it. Deepika reprimanded her for breaking fast. Harleen soon walked in and rebuked Deepika, assuming Deepika had brought food, reminding them of the strictness of keeping the fast.
Angered at the same behavior, Deepika starts throwing a pillow at her, stating Monisha kept blaming her in front of Harleen. Being stubborn, Monisha did not stop eating and outright told Deepika that she never believed in the practice and didn’t even have respect for it. End.

He had also seen Harleen notice the fast when she was unwell.
Later, Diya spoke with RV. She asked him why he scolded Purvi. He explained that he was trying to argue with her. But Diya didn’t like that; she said he was mentally tiring Purvi. It was up to RV to think what he was doing and how he would handle Purvi along with Monisha in the complicated situation.
