Confused, he wonders which place to break his fast at, the Luthra House or right there at the hospital by her side. Extremely emotional, Karan promises Preeta that his name must be written in her kundali bhagya, and because of the bond between them, she cannot leave him. He tells her everything will get better soon, and in the hope that she could feel his presence and his strength.
In another corner of the house, Shanaya comes to Shaurya asking him that how Rajveer is fasting for Palki and Shaurya was calm. She said she also shouldn’t be keeping a fast for him since he also doesn’t believe in them. To add a touch about not being interested in anything, Shaurya picks up his coffee and finishes it calmly.
Elsewhere, Dadi advises Rakhi to rest, knowing she’s overworked herself for the festivities. Kareena reassures Rakhi that she’ll handle the remaining work, and Rakhi finally agrees, retiring to her room for a much-needed break.
It’s dusk, and the Karwa Chauth rituals have begun. Karan is seated among the women assembling for the ritual and requests that he too be permitted to perform the rituals. Rakhi reminds him gently that Karwa Chauth was strictly a female’s ritual. Karan insisted he could do the ritual very well for Preeta.
Kareena tries to dissuade him, saying that it may look odd if he, being a man, participates in the rituals. But Karan is unmoved and tells her that he wants to do justice to the tradition with full sincerity and leave everyone touched by his dedication. The guests around them comment on how lucky Nidhi is to have such a devoted partner, not knowing about his undivided love for Preeta.
As the rituals go on, Rakhi begins to relate the Karwa Chauth story-a love story of love, loyalty, and sacrifice. Inspired, silently, Karan asks Rakhi if a husband may bring his wife back in life by challenging Yamraj-the god of death. The question left her gobsmacked and made realize how committed he is with Preeta.
It’s all clear that no boundary is too great—not even supernatural ones—for Karan, who would fight for her life if it came to that. The atmosphere drips with both love and suspense as everyone reflects on Karan’s question, moved by the lengths he’s willing to go to keep Preeta by his side.
Karan says he would have given up his life for Preeta. Mahesh and Rakhi get tensed hearing the words coming from her son’s mouth. Rakhi asks Karan to stop speaking this way, to pray before Karwa Mata to prolong Preeta’s life. Nidhi tells Shaurya that she’s going to prepare a plan by which Preeta is out of their lives permanently.
